Flies (and other bugs) find these ultraviolet rays irresistible. Our lighted insect traps incorporate pheromones and ultraviolet to capture nuisance flies. For most residential and business applications, fly zappers (traps which electrocute bugs) should not be used. In food handling areas of restaurants or food processing plants, insect body parts might fall into food if fly zappers are used. For those areas where a heavy-duty fly zapper unit is needed (in non-food areas) use one of our commercial flying insect zappers. Most flies are attracted to this UV light but there are certain flies (such as the vinegar fly) that are not. The pheromones in our capture pads will however lure flies that might not be attracted to ultraviolet. By using ultraviolet and pheromones, you greatly increase your chances of killing the pests in any given area.

There is nothing better than a big scoop of ice cream on a cone on a warm day. Or a scoop of ice cream on a piece of apple pie. Or a delicious treat on a wooden stick that most children drool about. But what happens when that ice cream starts to melt and ends up running down the front of your clothes?

As many of you might know, milk is a protein based stain. Therefore the best way to remove it is using a stain remover that contains enzymes. If the stain has dried, take a wet sponge and gently wipe off the dried milk. Spray the stain with a stain remover containing enzymes, such as Zout Liquid Spray which contains three different enzymes. Let the stain sit for 5 minutes and then launder. To get a double dose of enzyme power, use a detergent that has enzymes, such as Purex Oxi with Zout stain fighters. After laundering the item, if there is still residual from the stain, repeat the treatment process. Do not place the item in the dryer until the stain has been removed as the dryer could cause the stain to set.
